Throughout his career, Nyabinde released several successful albums and collaborated with various musicians, solidifying his place as a prominent figure in the genre. Unfortunately, Nyabinde's health had been declining in recent years. In 2018, he was diagnosed with diabetes, which ultimately affected his eyesight. Despite his health struggles, he continued to share his talent with the world and remained active in the music industry. The passing of Bob Nyabinde is a great loss to the jazz community and the music world as a whole. His contributions to the genre will always be remembered, and his music will continue to inspire future generations.

Entertainment NEWS| Mutare_Ent  Image: Rutendo Jackie & And Her Band The Afro Blue Band Tsvimbo Nedohwe, the recently released project by Rutendo Jackie, combines traditional African rhythms with contemporary instrumentation to create a unique blend of Afro Jazz.  The project, which comprises of six tracks, showcases Rutendo Jackie's versatility as a songwriter and musician. Afro Jazz has always been a popular genre in Africa, drawing inspiration from traditional and modern African music styles. It incorporates a mix of instruments, including drums, bass,mbira/thumb piano, guitar, and saxophone, to create a rhythmic, percussion-driven sound that is both upbeat and soulful.  Rutendo Jackie's Tsvimbo Nedohwe takes Afro Jazz to a new level by incorporating contemporary elements such as electronic sounds, synths, and programmed beats.
